§ 12 · Privacy
What we collect. And what we do not.
Plain English first. Legal language second. If anything below confuses you, write to joseph@paperstmarketing.com and we will rewrite it.
What we collect
If you write us, we have your name and email. That is it. We do not buy lists.
Paper St Marketing collects only the information you give us directly: your name, email address, and the text of any message you send us through the application form, the contact form, or by emailing us. We do not buy contact lists. We do not enrich your record from third-party data brokers.
The website itself uses a small amount of standard analytics so we know which essays get read.
Like most websites, we use basic web analytics to count pageviews and infer which essays are getting read. The analytics service we use does not collect personally identifiable information by default. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Where the information goes
Form submissions are emailed to Joseph. Emails are stored by our email provider (Resend) for delivery.
When you submit the application form or contact form, the contents are emailed to Joseph at joseph@paperstmarketing.com. We use Resend to deliver these emails. Resend stores the message body and recipient address in transit and in their logs for the duration of their standard retention policy.
We do not sell or rent your information. Period.
Paper St Marketing does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share information only with service providers who help us deliver email (currently Resend) and with our own legal or tax advisors when required.
Cookies
The site uses a small set of standard cookies. We do not run advertising or behavioral retargeting.
The site uses a minimal set of cookies, mostly for session continuity and basic analytics. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioral retargeting, or cross-site tracking pixels. If your browser is set to refuse cookies, the site still works.
How long we keep it
We keep application and contact records for as long as is useful for the engagement, then we delete them.
Application and contact records are retained for as long as the engagement is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. If you ask us to delete your record, we delete it within thirty days of the request, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.
How to ask us to delete your data
Email joseph@paperstmarketing.com with the word "delete" in the subject. We will confirm within five business days.
To request deletion of any record we hold about you, email joseph@paperstmarketing.com with the word "delete" in the subject line. We will confirm receipt within five business days and complete the deletion within thirty days. You can also ask us to show you everything we have on you, and we will.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we date the change at the bottom of the page. We do not move material changes silently.
We may revise this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the change-log section below with the revision date and a short summary of what changed. Material changes (changes that affect how your data is collected or shared) will be reflected in the change-log with a brief description.
