§ 13 · Terms
The rules of the road for using this site.
Plain English first. Legal language second. Engagement terms are governed by a separate written agreement, not by this page.
Use of the site
Read it, share it, quote it with attribution. Do not republish it as your own.
You are welcome to read this website, share links to it, and quote from it with attribution. You may not republish the content as your own work, train AI models on it without permission, or use it in a way that misrepresents the source.
The site is not the engagement
Nothing on this site is a contract. Engagement happens by separate written agreement.
The marketing copy, application form, intake call, and any reasoning published on this site do not create a contract between you and Paper St Marketing. An engagement is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties. Until that agreement is signed, the site is informational only.
Applying does not guarantee anything beyond a written response.
Filling out the application form does not guarantee an intake call, an engagement offer, or any specific outcome. We respond to every application in writing within five business days. That is the only commitment we make at the application stage.
Intellectual property
The writing, frameworks, case database, and design on this site belong to Paper St Marketing.
All writing, illustrations, frameworks, named methodologies, the underlying case database, scoring models, and the visual design of this site are the intellectual property of Paper St Marketing unless otherwise credited. Frameworks we cite (Trout and Ries 1981, Moore 1991, Lochhead and team 2016) belong to their original authors; our application of them is ours.
No guarantees
We do not promise specific revenue, CAC, or ranking outcomes from anything on this site.
Nothing on this site constitutes a guarantee of revenue growth, customer acquisition cost reduction, search-engine ranking, or any other business outcome. Engagement terms, including measurement protocols and revenue-share calculations, are defined in the separate written agreement, not here.
Third-party links
We link out to primary sources. We do not control those sites.
Paper St Marketing links to third-party websites (research papers, news articles, SEC filings, framework authors) as primary sources for the claims we make. We do not control the content of those sites, and the inclusion of a link is not an endorsement of everything that site publishes.
Limitation of liability
If something on the site is wrong or outdated, tell us and we will fix it. We are not liable for decisions made on that basis.
We work hard to keep the site accurate and to flag claims with their primary sources. If you find an error, write to joseph@paperstmarketing.com and we will correct it or remove it. We are not liable for any business decision made on the basis of information on this site that turns out to be incorrect.
Governing law
California law governs these terms. Disputes are resolved in Los Angeles County.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of this site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we date the change at the bottom of the page.
We may revise these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the change-log section below with the revision date and a brief description of what changed. Material changes will be reflected with a short note describing the substantive shift.
